Arizona was amazing. My first round was not too good. I played the course Saguaro. I started off with two pars I hit both fairways and one green through the first two holes. On the third hole I hit a great drive to about 120 which was out of the range of my sand wedge but short of my P wedge so I hit My P Wedge a little bit too hard to the back to the green. The pin was at the front so I had a lengthy birdie putt. I nailed it. I aimed to the right but originally aimed about two feet to the left which would not have been good. After that it went downhill. After being 1 under through 3, I went 10 over through 6. I didn't even keep score on the back which I did worse on but the guy I played with said I got a 95. I haven't scored that high in forever. My next day on the other course, Cholla, was better. I didn't like that course as good as the other. My driver was giving me trouble. The only time I hit a good shot with my driver was on a hole with split fairways. On purpose I aimed far to the left and on purpose slid my hips and pushed the shot right into the right fairway. On the tenth hole I drove over the green because the yardage was wrong. I parred that hole because on the other side of the green was a bunker. I finished with an 87. I played Cholla again. I did better because I finally figured out my driver on the sixteenth. I shot an 85. My game really came together on my last round on Saguaro. Even though I started off with a double I was hitting fairways. Hitting fairways allowed me to hit greens. My chipping was also exceptionally well. I finished with an 8 over 79 on a par 71. I loved that place and hope to go back there again.
